Renowned Nigerian – U S base musician, Speed Darlington, voices his disappointment after taking a lovely woman on a date, only to end up spending a substantial sum of N85,000 Naira without any physical interaction.
This incident occurred shortly after the singer publicly expressed his desire to find a committed partner, with the intention of eventually getting married.
In a recent social media post, Speed Darlington recounted his first date with a fellow singer, during which they shared endearing moments and appeared smitten with each other.
Nonetheless, the singer, better known as Akpi by his fans, later lamented on the huge amount he spent on the first date, despite the lack of any intimate contact with his companion.
In the viral video Akpi could be heard saying this about his date:
“See me wey say i no go spend pass N5K on a date because first date is about getting to know the person; it’s not about ‘look at me, I’m so loaded’. N85K on a date I no even squeeze yansh or breast. Okay half na me, but still N42K on someone I no dey see hin bra, I don fcck up.”
