A concerned Nigerian adviced Nigerians not to allow the boxing of musician Portable and former Nollywood actor Charles Okocha that took place on the 26th day of December to bring tribal issues between them.
He said that it was supposed to be for comic relief to Nigerians in this eventful and stressful period and not for hurtful tribal banta

Unfortunately, it was far more than that. Going through the TL, mostly what I saw were banters curled in tribal h@te, and crude bigotry. It’s now been turned into a real Igbo vs Yoruba “cold ethnic supremacy fight.”
It’s so pitiable that Nigerians have bigotry engraved in their subconscious that they attribute everything to “hurtful tribal banta.”Nigerians need healing and “resetting of the mind.”
