Afrobeat artist, Davido Adeleke, has addressed a response to one of his child’s mothers, Sophia Momodu. In a counter-affidavit, Sophia had mentioned Davido’s late son, Ifeanyi, which made the singer upsets.
Imade’s mother had submitted a 100-paragraph counter-affidavit after Davido requested joint custody.
Specifically, in paragraph 76, Sophia added the tragic domestic accident that claimed Davido’s son, Ifeanyi, which she described as careless, using it as a reason to keep her daughter away from the singer.
Davido has strongly criticized Sophia for repeatedly reopening this painful wound, despite the grief he and his wife, Chioma, continue to endure.
The singer has subtly suggested temporarily setting aside the custody case, expressing his belief that one day, his daughter will understand his unwavering efforts to be a part of her life.
Taking to his instagram stories, 001 as fondly called by fans emphasized how much he loves his daughter, Imade.
