Social media users are reacting to a recently resurfaced video of Sophia Momodu, where she candidly shares her deepest concern about raising her daughter, Imade, whom she shares with singer Davido.
In an Instagram live session with fans in 2022, Sophia openly admitted that her worst fear has become a reality, as she finds herself navigating the challenges of being a single parent, something she had never envisioned for herself.
She emphasized that she never wanted to be in this position, but circumstances have forced her to confront this reality.
The resurfaced video comes after Sophia filed a detailed affidavit, spanning 102 paragraphs, to oppose Davido’s pursuit of joint custody of their daughter.
She cited various reasons, including the tragic loss of his son, Ifeanyi, his controversial lifestyle, and her belief that he uses their daughter to retaliate against her, as justification for her decision.

Reflecting on her fall out relationship with Davido, Sophia has previously revealed her intention to remove the Adeleke surname from her daughter’s name and replace it with her own last name.
She firmly asserts that she is both a mother and a father figure to Imade, determined to provide her with the care and support she needs.
