Popular Afrobeats singer and wife of ex-YBNL signee, Adekunle Gold, Simi has reacted to a self acclaimed woman of God who claims that appearing natural for young ladies won’t help them get them a husband.
In a recent video making rounds online a female pastor expressed that young ladies who don’t add artificial looks to themselves won’t be able to find husbands as “they aren’t attractive enough”.
Taking to react to the woman of God, Simi noted that what the pastor said is wrong, as she expressed that God didn’t send her to pass that message.
Simi said:
“Even when you hide self hate inside “good advice”, it’s still self hate. This is why 90% of skincare products in countries full of beautiful dark skin girls/women are “whitening creams”. And girls are told that the hair that grows out of their hair is not special enough. It’s not that you’re not good enough, it’s that they said you’re not good enough. She’s on the pulpit too.
